My name is Kathy and I am a mother to 2 young girls aged 3 and 6. I live with my partner with whom I have been with for 4 years. These 3 people are my world and the people I live for. I have worked in retail since I was 16 years old, that’s a massive 14 years of non-stop work. I have always done casual hours and have only ever taken time off work to have my children. Even then, I was only off work for no more than 8 weeks. As a casual I couldn’t afford to take too much time off work.
