Happy Birthday
Happy birthday to my darling daughter! You are unbelievably precious to me, and I hope you realize that you are my everything. May your birthday be filled with splendor and love.
You are such a positive, charming, and absolutely adorable daughter. I am so proud that I get to call you my daughter because no other person could ever hope to compare to you.
The day you were born was the greatest moment of my life. I am so grateful that I have a daughter as honest, beautiful, and intelligent as you.
You renew my faith in the world because any world that has as incredible a person as you in it is one that can only be good. You are such an inspiration to me, and I hope you feel surrounded by love and warmth on your birthday.
A minute, a moment or a sec
Do you have a minute?
It will only take a sec.
I’ll be back in a moment
Do you say any of those sayings?
Of course you do, everyone does but we all know nothing takes that short a period of time.
So when someone stops you by saying do you have a minute, do you inwardly roll your eyes and think I don’t have time to talk to you then take a breath smile and say of course I do.
How do you feel when someone says to you I’ll be back in a moment and you are left waiting for 15-30 minutes, getting mader by the minute because how bloody long is a moment.

A JOY THAT’S SHARED IS A JOY MADE DOUBLE
Mother and Child
Good morning all, when was the last time you spoke to your children or they spoke to you?
How often do you talk to them?
I speak to my children all the time, Natasha I see and speak to daily, Jessica I talk to maybe once or twice a week and I see and talk to Kathy-Lee every Saturday when she brings over my shopping.
What I cannot imagine is going weeks, months or years not talking and seeing my children, however, I have a couple of penpals who have not spoken to their child in months or years. I feel this is so sad but what is really sad is one penpal has no idea why her child isn’t talking to her. When she asked what the problem was she was told she should know what she did.
This is the woman who gave birth to you, raised you the best way she knew how to do. Maybe she wasn’t the best mother at times or let you down at times but she tried her best. At least you can do is tell her what she did to upset you.
How would you feel if your child treated you like you treat your mother?
Your child would see how you treat your mother and think if you can treat your mother that way they can treat you the same way.
