Tell them you are proud of them

Do you tell your children that you are proud of them?

I do, I tell them…………….. often

I think it is important to tell them, they need to know that you are proud of them that doesn’t mean you are always proud of everything they do but if they do something that makes you proud tell them. If you are proud of the person they have grown into tell them.

I feel if a child doesn’t hear that someone is proud of them then it effects how they think of themselves, if that makes any sense.

It isn’t just kids who need to hear that someone is proud of them I think we all do. Do you remember the last compliment you received? Who was it that complimented you?

My parents often tell me they are proud of me and my dad will often tell me that I look good and it does make me feel good inside……….
